Unprofessional "professional" entreprenuer in this economy may want to check themselves....

Today it was realized that in this economy the unprofessional "professional" may want to check themselves. If the client's appointment is for a specific time designated, it can be understandable for a fifteen possible twenty minute wait after appointment time, half hour maximum. However, as the unprofessional "professional" you acknowledge your client but you say to the client "okay, I'll be right back" and then politely leave the building. Now the client is patiently waiting til the realization that it is now almost an hour since the unprofessional "professional" has left the building. Client then tells the owner the circumstances and owner assigns a new "professional" for client. Client leaves quite pleased with services rendered and left a tip.

The unprofessional "professional" upon return an hour and twenty minutes later, instead of recognizing the faux pas, unprofessional "professional" chooses to say "if I knew you were pressed for time, I would not have left"....mmmm...not realizing scheduled appointed time had already bypassed by almost two hours. That's an audacious statement for someone who missed out on another source of income as well as a tip....therefore, in this economy the unprofessional "professional" may want to check themselves, especially many of the entreprenuers who are calling themselves entrepreneurs.
