Well, well, well... "Rahm was not that beloved as everybody says" Bill Daley

Bill Daley to Politico's Roger Simon: At White House, Rahm Emanuel not that "beloved" - Lynn Sweet

I'm not going to become the leaker in chief." You've got others for that, I say. "Yeah, and hopefully in some organized leaking fashion," Daley says, laughing. "I'm all for leaking when it's organized."

Well now it all makes sense and explains why the many squandered opportunities happened on his watch with the spillover happening in the schallacking the President took on that fateful November election. He perhaps was treating the position like many do in the "corporate" world of lining up position before you leave a position. If you have someone who is supposed to your friend, confidante, and negotiator you would certainly hope they weren't doing things for their own selfish reasons which therefore, makes you semi-ineffective in your leadership role. When it's time to cut your losses and move on for own achievements, sometimes you do what you have to do earlier rather than later but still keep on smiling of getting business accomplished.
