Tunisian living when visiting....

"My only advice about Tunisia...don't go 2 the Big Hotel 4 Mass Tourist...Choose small luxury Hotel...traditional inn...& move (circulate, city,restaurant, hookah café, Market place, etc. ), talk, negotiate, buy, smile, watch, breathe, eat....but don't stay in a All inclusive Hotel !...The best is 2 know a Tunisian family & live life like them...." ~ Choukri Tracy

This is truly the best way to learn the people & the culture if you're visiting a country. Sometimes staying at the "Big Hotels" they can be so overrun with tourists you can't really enjoy your visit. However, if you choose a smaller boutique luxury hotel they usually have the same amenities offered at a bigger hotel but with less tourists congestion. Tunisia is one of many countries that have wonderful smaller boutique hotels, traditional inns, & given the chance you may enjoy your visit in a different & less stressful way.
